My name is Runyu Li, you can call me Martin as well. I’m a Los Angeles–based Post Producer specializing in vertical short-form drama, a fast-evolving mobile-first storytelling format designed for today’s digital audiences.

Originally from Kunming, China, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to my work, combining Eastern content analysis with Western audience localization. My focus lies at the intersection of storytelling, operations, and execution — ensuring narrative impact while maintaining precision in delivery, workflow optimization, and quality control.

I earned my M.A. in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Southern California, following a B.A. in Communication from Trinity University. My background in strategic communication, media analysis, and audience engagement informs how I approach both creative development and production systems.

I believe strong systems enable strong storytelling.
